Assault on the Red Dragon
Prelude
House Chung took action against the heroes as best it could. They issued wanted posters against all members of the group for varying amounts. The Jun travelled to Broken Tiger where Hansu's father and several other villagers were burned out of their homes.
The graves at House Chung were robbed. Persons unknown also hijacked and burned a wagon, but it was not immediately clear who the offenders were.
Player Perspective
The Other Monk* was visited in his dreams by a spirit who claimed to be Sweeping Lin, sent by the White Temple as a reward for destroying the gate. He advised The Other Monk* to remove the Chung spymaster in Tai Town and to talk to Leng of the Yellow temple. After some doubts, The Other Monk* agreed.
The Other Monk*, Hansu, and Fong Fa Hong travelled to Tai Mien where The Other Monk* met with Leng. Leng explained that he had recently come into some information about a magical sword in Shan province. The sword was created by Mongoose, a hero of the Shan who had fought many snake demons. Leng explained that the snake cult was on the rise in the province and the sword would be needed. The Other Monk* agreed, but decided to put off the trip one day to kill the spymaster first.
The group attempted to make contact with Shen, Hansu's cousin, and instead found all of Hansu's relatives there, taking shelter from Broken Tiger. They had been warned by the Jun cupbearer and were not home when their home was burned. Hansu agreed to intercede with his lord and see if his brother could find space for them. The glint of greed in the old man's eyes was unmistakeable as he questioned the size of the price on Mirumoto Long's head.
Late that night, they were joined by Mirumoto Long and all four went to the Red Dragon, a gaming house owned by the Chung Spymaster. While Hansu and Long came in at the ground floor and raised a ruckes, Fong Fa Hong and The Other Monk* scaled the side of the building to the roof. Mirumoto Long began creatig a disturbance proclaiming "I am Mirumoto Long, fetch me the owner" and the servants appeared to comply.
It was trickery though and the servant tried to drop Hansu and Mirumoto Long in a pit. Hansu was able to throw his lord to the apparent safety of the gaming house while he himself fell into the pit and slid into the gladiatorial pits. He fought his way back up to rejoin his master.
Meanwhile, Mirumoto Long and The Other Monk* had made quick work of the Spymaster and his guards, killing or incapacitating them almost immediately. Mirumoto Long joined them, followed by Hansu.
All four entered the counting room where The Other Monk*'s staff had detected undead. They were attacked by a strange creature which seemed to coalesce out of the mist to attack them. As it attacked, the mist in the room and the creature itself took on a stronger and stronger hue of blood. The battle was hard, and both Fong Fa Hong and The Other Monk* were sorely wounded.
Luckily, Hansu, remembering all this his master Mirumoto Long had taught him, was able to stay in the fight long enough to help Mirumoto Long dispatch the evil thing. As it died, the mist coalesced into blood and rained down upon the room.
The bloodmist (or so I name it) was slain and the group helped itself to the contents of the counting house before escaping into the river to avoid the dozens of guardsmen who had arrived to arrest them.

- Virtue
- Participation by role-playing to the setting and involving your background. Each point is based on 1% of what you need for your next level.
Wuxia- Actions and role-playing that play to the setting. IE jumping around shouting about your honor and cutting up things in bamboo groves. Each point is based on 1% of what you need for your next level.
Honor- Overall achievement for the night, killing stuff and meeting goals. Mike is always going to end up with a lower honor number because of his advancement being one level higher. The Honor level is based on overall difficulty of achieving goals for the night, this number is awarded to each character instead of being divided.
- White Chips are Yang and are awarded for actions that advance the plot or impress the GM, these will also often result in a Wuxia award.
- Black Chips are Yin and are awarded for insights and role-playing that advance the plot or impress the GM, these will also often result in a Virtue award.
- Yang (White Chips) may be spent to give +5 to a dynamic roll (combat, balancing on a rope, catching a falling child before he tumbles past you and into a lake of molten lava, etc.) or to alter the environment in a plausible way (there could be a rope hanging from the loading derrick that lets you swing out to the escaping ship, there could be a weak bar in the cell window, etc.)
- Yin (Black Chips) may be spent to give +5 to a non-dynamic roll (lying to people, making a charm person spell harder to resist, artistic endeavors) or to alter the environment in a plausible way (you hear about another characters capture, the prison guard is married to your aunt, your cellmate happens to be the architect of the dungeon you had heard was imprisoned here, etc.)
