Way of Fox

Purpose

Students of the Way of Fox strive to match his intellect.

History

The origins of the Way of Fox are lost. They are known to have originated in Timor Plains, but the savages there kept no histories. It is believed by most that all other Paths and Ways were inspired by the original six of Timor Plains, but no one now knows which of those was first.

Philosphy

All animals have much to teach us, but Fox is the greatest of all.

Joining

The secrets of Fox are open only to the Children of Fox.

Membership in Way of Fox is exclusive. Members must also meet the following requirements:
Intelligence 13+

Secrets

Those who follow Fox will teach their Level 1 and 2 secrets to anyone who follows another animal Way. They will teach their level 1 secrets to those who follow a natural Way of any kind.

Fox Insight100Int 13+The character gains +2 on any roll to figure out a puzzle or riddle.
Level 2
Fox Speech200The character can speak with Fox
Fox Cunning200The character gains a +2 on any skill roll involving setting or avoiding a trap.
Level 3
Fox Intelligence400The character gains 1d4+1 points of Intelligence for 6 rounds. This ability can be used once/day per point of natural intelligence bonus.
Fox Tactics400The character gains a +2 bonus on any opposed roll to guess his motives or tactics.
Level 4
Fox Friend800Fox SpeechThe character can use animal friendship on a fox.
Level 5
Fox Shape1600The character can change from human to fox form 1/day per 5 levels. Changing back is free.

Other Information

Students of Fox remember their school as being the first and will gladly argue the case with anyone.
