Way of Gazelle

Purpose

Students of the Way of Gazelle seek to match his beauty.

History

The origins of the Way of Gazelle are lost. They are known to have originated in Timor Plains, but the savages there kept no histories. It is believed by most that all other Paths and Ways were inspired by the original six of Timor Plains, but no one now knows which of those was first.

Philosphy

All animals have much to teach us, but Gazelle is the greatest of all.

Joining

The secrets of Gazelle are open only to the Children of Gazelle.

Membership in Way of Gazelle is exclusive. Members must also meet the following requirements:
Charisma 13+

Secrets

Those who follow Gazelle will teach their Level 1 and 2 secrets to anyone who follows another animal Way. They will teach their level 1 secrets to those who follow a natural Way of any kind.

Level 1
Gazelle Jump100Cha 13+The character gains a +2 bonus to all jump checks and ignores maximum height and distance rules.
Level 2
Gazelle Speech200The character can speak with Gazelle
Gazelle Speed200The character adds +5 to his base movement.
Level 3
Gazelle Grace400The character gains 1d4+1 points of Charima for 6 rounds. This ability can be used once/day per point of natural Charisma bonus.
Gazelle Stance400The character gets a +2 bonus to any hide or jump checks.
Level 4
Gazelle Friend800Gazelle SpeechThe character can use animal friendship on a gazelle.
Gazelle Leap800The character can use the running rules for jump checks even from a standing start.
Level 5
Gazelle Shape1600The character can change from human to gazelle form 1/day per 5 levels. Changing back is free.

Other Information

Gazelle is seen as the weakest of the schools of Timor Plains.
