Fool's Paradise
Designer(s): Walik and Varsy Nodget Archetype: Monster Hotel Objective: Survival Introduction: The dungeon is basically, a monster hotel with one weird twist being a bi-level design with mirror image levels and different traps. Because of the brother's fondness for pairs and twins of all kinds, the dungeon features monsters found mostly in pairs and always in even numbers. Designer's Evaluation
The Delve and delvers performed beautifully. The bi-level design with only a few modifications confused them, lulling them into a false sense of security at some points and leaving them wildly paranoid at others. Likewise, the tiled room worked well, leaving them guessing. We'll have to try something similar in a time-trial.
The only serious disappointment was the handful of traps they avoided and the skill of their thief.
Delve Diary
The delvers came, they beat up the monsters, they argued amongst themselves, they beat up more monsters, they argued about arguing, they beat more up monsters, they cleaned the place out and they left.
