Delve World II

Vertical Limit

Designer(s): Alovar Credens
Archetype: Monster Hotel
Objective: Solve the puzzle to identify the object you must retrieve, then retrieve it.
Introduction: The challenge of the Vertical Limit is to survive in an unusual environment while solving a puzzle.

Designer's Evaluation

The delve did not perform as designed. Future designers should bear in mind the penchant of this group, particularly Fang, for wanton destruction. In this case, clues and magic were destroyed rendering the puzzle aspect of the delve moot.

The Verticality was also somewhat less enhanced than I had hoped. I plan to do a future version which more heavily emphasizes the vertical element. I will accomplish by both the mapping of the delve and the selection of additional monsters with vertical capabilities.

Delve Diary

The delvers came, they beat up some monsters, they argued amongst themselves, they beat up more monsters, they discarded a valuable clue, they beat up more monsters, they argued about arguing, they beat more up monsters, they cleaned the place out and they left.

Quotable Quotes

Someone: We argue before we open doors!

Fang: I don't care how much you burn these two in the front...

Fang: Bite me, bite me, bite me you fool!
