If we'd worked harder on Crunch, maybe we'd have come up with Kobolds ate my baby.

Luckily the calendar doesn't identify my place as the location for next Sunday's game. I won't be able to make the game nor offer my basement as a location as I've had a better offer.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just make it mandatory for the player and GM to agree on the skills involved in any unusual groups? Sort of like the "package deal" one finds in some other systems...

Skill groups can now only ever be bought up to 5, at start a player gets 1 skill at a level equall to the skill group at the same level as the skill group. During play the player may add new skills to the skill group at a cost of 1 per level. Skill groups only include the starting skills chosen at start and may no longer be used to as part of a pool in skill that might be included in that skill group. While this rule limits the usefullness of buying a skill group at the start it don't cost the players anything extra to buy one and it saves points later on, as well as eliminating any arguments about what is included in a skill group right in the middle of combat.

Thier will be other uses of drama points but to start with a player can use drama points to activate one of their atvantages when they feel the GM is ignoring it, the player can only activate the advantage up to the level they bought it at and at the same cost as the level they are using, although someone with sex appeal 10 can spend 1 pt to activate sex appeal 1. The player can also try to blindly activate a disavantage of thier oppenets by spending drama and trying to name the disadvatage ( or at leadt get close )

Useing Drama Vs. wounds. 1 pt prevent 1 health of damage, 5 prevent damage from causing a wound, 10 prevent all damage from 1 attack.

IO was thinking of using this for the damage system, if you take hits equal to your health you take a wound, if the hits you've taken puts you into the negative you must make a stun check Vs. the amount of damage you've taken and your stuned for rounds = to the difference between the damage you took and your best roll. At minus health greater then health score the player is KO for the scene. When wounds = the health score the player starts loses 1 point of drama per round till he dies or gets medicle attension ( although he may still be conscience). This damage rule would make it possible to cause a wound without having to beat your opponets health score down first while still causing player to get KOed long before they are in danger of dieing from wounds.

Ive sent a exspanded list of skills to steve for posting, Ive also will be using a familiartiy rule for skill groups, target number will always be high for atemping to do something a charater is unfamiliar with, but if the challage is in the same skill group the charater at least get those extra point in his pool: For Ex jeff and dan are trying to pick a lock a intelligen + Crafts/lockpicking roll. Jeff has 2 level in crafts and a int of 3 so he gets 5 point in his pool, dan has only his int of 3, the lock would be a target of 3 for someone who had a burgler or lock smith backgroup but its 6 for Jeff and dan, but Jeff with his craft skill group is use to working with his hands and mechanisms so his had a better chance.
