A brief description of the characters and their motives (as described by the players):
- Dave - Beacon
- Beacon started as an acolyte druid traveling the wild to learn it's mysteries...he soon learned that the common man and thier rulers by and large had little respect for the ground that gives them sustenance. After a retreat to the wild for quite some time, he re-joined his old adventuring party when the prospect of an invading force such that the world has not seen in a thousand years appeared....
- Yashi of Mertho - Steve
- Yashi hails from Mertho. a land beyond the Crystal Sea. He is a stranger to these parts, but not to combat. He wields the Raven Maul of Borak with uncanny skill. A bit gruff and abrasive under normal circumstances, he is among the finest human beings alive when under attack.
- Prior Waylan - joe
- The basterd of the Duke of Winefield, while not in the line of succession his family did get him placed in the secular position of Prior of the Catherdral of St. Vindicon, a teaching hospital. Waylan is a devotee of the 7 luck saints and a follower of thier 7 venal virtures.
- Revere the Lowly - Steve
- Revere is not much of a noble. He feels his family has survived too long on the work of others and so he tries to go his own way. He has cheap armor and weapons and wields the obscure dire flail, though not very well.
