He will set the howling men on them, we will prepare to support them.
Huh?
...just guard the doors.-The son and his men are dead, and I'm only facing a handful. Vorn and his wolves will bleed them and the Howling men should finish them off. That will leave with only the priest and his guards fresh, but it should be enough to hold till the pass is closed-
Smack, smack, smack

Player's Perspective
The wolves attacked and we were able to defeat them, but not their master who escaped. We pursued them through the lower levels but eventually came to a deadend. We regrouped and decided to continue our battle on the lower level. We crossed the courtyard at the foot of the barrow and assaulted the door.
It didn't go well. The door was tough and the men on the otherside were wily. They Poked sticks at us as we sought to enter. We eventually broke in and battled our way through some skeletons to the leaders. Delvin spotted the wizard and shot him immediately. He ran.
At first Kormac wasn't there and the negotiations went well. It appeared that the guards were only there to guard Flaky (Lord Necrotic) and with him gone they had no problem with us doing whatever we wanted. When Kormac entered, that changed. They had a deep and abiding hatred of Imperials and leapt to the attack. We defeated them, but it wasn't easy.
Our final assault was on the upper levels where we fought the true battle: the dragon man, a small dragon, two ogres and an undead priest. It did not go well. In the end, only Kormac, with his well-spent spells remained standing and only by his power were we able to win the day.
There was a cost though, as Kedrin was killed and raised as a zombie only to die again when the Tear was rededicated.
