Character Creation

I expect the party to have mostly fighter types, two Mages at most, Clerics are fine, but the diety must fit the campaign. Examples of unacceptable gods include Aztec, Oriental, or any other DF stuff.

General rules for the whole group to know:

  1. DM watches all die rolls, or use web page. DM watches all exceptional strength rolls (No Exceptions)
  2. 1st Level Start unless otherwise directed.
  3. No Psionics
  4. Standard Magic Rules, maximum of 2 mages in party.
  5. If you choose to use a Complete... kit with the Skills and Powers proficiencies rules, any proficiencies listed as bonuses are purchased for 2 less character points; anything listed as recommended is purchased for 1 less. The minimum cost is still 1 point.
  6. Blood powers (if any) will be kept in secret by the GM, powers may be revealed during game play.
  7. Dieties are restricted to those offered in the Birthright campaign setting, plus the normal demi-human deities. Any others require GM approval
  8. You can't make a custom class and take a Complete... kit

The game will be largely standard AD&D with minor house rules. Familiarity with the Birthright rules is neither required nor expected.

Before making your character, take a look at what the other players are doing; don't step on anyone else's role!
