Summary of the Adventure

Following their canoeing lesson, the company, save Daran, headed for the Elven city. They arrived there and were greeted at the gate by a very unhappy guard. He refused to allow them to enter town with weapons in the company of the traitor Taernac. Brother Urbane declined to enter, but the rest of the group left their weapons behind and were taken to the captain of the guard.

They met with the captain, told him they had the evidence and were invited back to his place for supper. In the morning, they were taken before a tribunal and it was determined that Taernac had, in fact, been framed. He was exhonerated and his commission was restored. While the rest of the group went out drinking, Jameson joined Alister, a local wizard, for some research on Andi's weapon, which he refered to as a soul blade.

An all day party at the Toad and Branch preceded a more formal soiree at the captain's home. During the party, the group met up with two outlanders, a father and son, who had come seeking aid for their people. It was also revealed that the soul blade was probably of outlander origin. Contained in the hilt was a map to an ancient burial ground. The old man thought it might hold the key to helping his people and begged the party to follow it. They agreed.

After some discussion, the group agreed to help and the son was assigned to aid them. Because the elves had been asked diretly, the mage Alister sent along his apprentice Malz as well. On the morning they left, Alister presented Jameson with a box containing a cartography kit.

They returned to the village where they were welcomed with a big parade and a speech by the baron. In the monring, despite Malz' suggestion, they left for the tomb.

Buying silence means just that. I know it sucked, you know it sucked; any discussion of how much it sucked will cost you experience unless I started it

Variances in experience points are due to good ideas, roleplaying and class abilities.
