The Hook
She tore her husband's throat out with fangs as long and sharp as needles. The bible burned her face before it fell away.
Prelude
Emmett Brown, a traveling peddler was caught in a snow storm while traveling through Maine when he took refuge in the Old Crow common house when an man named Gerald Lumbly came in.
Lumbly, dispute warning from the locals, had tried to set up a homestead in the abandoned town of Jerusalem's lot and while taking shelter for the night from his wife’s nagging over being forced to live in such a haunted abandoned place, heard his wife and daughter screaming from the house.
Lumbly joined the common house owner, Herb "Tookey" Tooklander, and another local man named John Booth in searching for the family.
They encountered a woman Lumbly identified as his wife. His wife Abigale was underdressed for the weather and when Lumbly approached him, she opned a fanged mouth and leap apon him, ripping his throut out. Booth brandished a cross from under his coat, while Tooklander slapped a bible againt the woman’s face to drive her away into the storm so he could check on lumbley. Before they fled with Brown back to Durham Tooklander took Lumley’s head with a hatcht and then the two men refused to talk about it. Instead only warning Brown to stay away from Jerusalem’s lot.
Summary
James Boone, a charistmi puritan leader, founded Jeruselam’s lot in the early 1700s, his son, Philip obtained a book called De Vermis Mysteriis
Phillip used the book to summon a worm spirit and sacrificed the entire town to is in order to turn himself into Nosfuratu. But both Phillip and the worms were trapped, unable to leave the vicinity of the book.
Years later, another Booth arrived and took up residence in Castlewaite, the Boone ancestrial home and found the book, moving it to Castlewaite and awakeing the slumbeing Nosferatu.
Later a man named Lumbley was hired to take up residence in the town by Phillip in order to fully awaken the worms until they attack and transformed his wife and daughter.
Lumbley sought out help in the nearby town of Durham at which point a elderly Harbinger name Emmet Brown passed on word of their exsistance.
The players arrived in town and found it readiing itself for another night of being stalked by the night walkers, they moved on to jerusalem’s lot, encountering John Booth who sought to secure Castlewaite house from a Austrain merchant named phillip Barlow who had been away on a trip while his mansevent Han Stuart attended the house.
Ben Webster returned to town and looked through charles booths last letters in which he spole of findign the ook in the main chaple of Jerusalem’s lot and takeing it to his home, and being hautned by two of his dead relatives.
The group investigated Lubley’s house, finding a bed o earth filled with worms which burst into flaime sin sulight, and the entrance to a undergroudn series of tunnels below the town.
The group then visited the chapel and burned it town, along with the rest of the town.
Forceing they way into Castlewaite house, they fount two lesser nosferatur, and chase Barlow, in truth Philip Booth to a hidden celler when he had been tryign to rewrite De Vermis Mysteriis from memory and found him.
Soaking the book in Amos’s blood they weakened it so it could burn, killing the Noferatu, the children fo the worm and sending the worm back to the outside realms.
