Calendar
A year is composed of ten twenty-four day months and fifteen holidays which are not part of the calendar.
Each month has 4 weeks of 6 days each. The weeks are named in the ancient tongue for the four great powers of the world:
Warus - the week of the warrior
Pious - the week of the priest
Witus - the week of the mage
Slius (sly-us) - the week of the rogue.The days are named for each of the great races, also in the ancient tongue and in the order in which they appeared in the world
Elus, the first day of the week draws its name from the elves
Goblus, the second day of the week draws its name from the goblin races.
Dwarus, the third day of the week is named for the dwarves.
Ogus, the fourth day is named for the ogres and their kin.
Halus, the fifth day is named for the halflings, though many believe this is a mistake.
Mayus, the last day is named for man.The months are named for the gods, but the names are in the old tongue and some have been corrupted through common usage.
Nacir From Neciros, the first month of Winter and the beginning of the rebirth of the new year. Kiv From Kiaval, this is the time of long shadows and deepest night. Viltom From Vil, this is the time when disease and famine are most common. PlantingWeek Each of the six days of this week is named after one of the Gods. The other days of the week are named differently. During Harvest, the same names occur, only in the other order:

the order is based on the gift granted by the godGrock From Gramlock, good luck is needed in this month. Apias From Pinavious, this is the month when rain and weather are most critical. Sune Day This day exists between spring and summer and is a festival day. Though named after Si, there are festivals and ceremonies honoring many gods this day. Sune From Si, the god of the sun who is most needed at this time. Jynus From Jynivous, the god of travelers, this is the best time to start a long journey. Arn From Areana, this is the time of the greatest peace and when nature is at its most beautiful. Harvest Week Aanahyl
