A brief description of the characters and their motives (as described by the players):
- Kurak - Mark
- A Dwarven Warrior from the Iron Shores. Kurak is on a mission to recruit help in defending his Kingdom from attacking forces. Kurak wields a large axe and wears a breast plate made of wood.
- Malik the Grey of Pellegan - John
- Malik is a professional soldier. He prefers to use his archery skills but doesn't shy away from combat that is up close and personal. He is considered cheerful for a Pelleg, but characteristically untrusting. He prefers to do things the easiest and most expidetious way possible. He occasionally will interpret events with native Palleg superstition.
- Ulrich von Klipstein - Lou
- Ulrich is the son of a Baron of Kryll. He has been traveling the world to get some real like expeirence and to make name for himself.
- Toglard - Steve
- Toglard is an unpleasant mage who enjoys insulting people, bad table manners and killing people who get on his nerves (though perhaps not in that order). His lack of hygeine provides him with a singular perfume and his greasy hair and dull complexion are a trademark. Basically, if any civilized person spotted Toglard standing on the Acropolis, they would be totally bummed out. If they could, they'd probably call for nuclear retaliation.
- Shane Lee - Mike
- A Guardian of the paths for the Temple of Divine Light. A hugh shrine dedicated to all the Gods of Light (Good aligned Gods). He is like all Guardian a monk/priest.
- Morduke - Tim
- Morduke is a Priest of Gramlock God of Strength. He was sent to the Festival of Peace by Cordova, High Priest of Gramlock. Morduke uses Gramlock's weapon of choice the Great Sword and he wears full plate.
- O - Dave
- An elf raised on the sea, Olowniuk is at home on land or out on the open ocean. He's very much interested in seeing what's to be seen and travelling the world. Sometimes a jack of all trades (many skills can be improvised--Necessity is the mother of invention), sometimes a master of none. If there is a surfer elf...
- Cutter - Joe
- A warrior of the shiney studded black leather variaty, dedicated to the study of swordfighting, a worshipper of the temple of steel. Rather absentminded unless theres combat or someone messes with his hair, which is often followed by combat.
- Bali of Mykyll, servant of Mercheval - Steve
- Balicus is a magician who is particularly good at conjuring. He usually calls on his animal friends to help him in his struggles. He adventures for the glory of his people, his kingdom and his god (though maybe not in that order).
