Adventure Summary
With the Ring of Fire in the hands of Toglard and the lich disposed of, the undead forces moved back to re-group without their leader. The party decided to head east to Minneva and find out what was going on with the slave raids. According to reports, the slaves were taken from villages along the Kryll and Pallegan borders. The Minnevian people claim that they are now slaves due to commiting crimes against Minnevian law.
Arriving at a port in Minneva, the group bought eight slaves. Four Pallegians and four Kryllians. Under a zone of truth it was discovered that six out of the either were taken, while two were caught commiting crime.
Heading to the capitol as a joint dimplomatic delegation, Malik and Ulrich planned to meet with the King of Minneva. Arriving in the capital, they were treated very well. Staying at the finest hotel in the city they learned that a delegation from the Majestic Kingdoms was in the other half of the hotel. Olown casually went over to say hello, only to be turned away by a guard behind the door whose eyes were black and glassy.
The next morning the group met with the king, who was very cordial to them. The group held the belief that the king was completely aware of the raids into Pallegan and Kryll and the slaves did not commit any crime. The King held his ground that the people were now slave due to commiting crimes against the land. Things became heating with Toglard and Olown raising their voices and speaking rather strongly. Things boiled over when Toglrad declared that Toglardia and Minneva where now enemies and at war.
Things finally settled when the King agreed to interview each of the slaves from Pallegan and Kryll, in front of delegation from each kingdom, under a zone of truth. The delegations arrived the next day thanks to the magiks of the group. The process took almost a month, in which many were found to have been taken falsely. The King released those taken falsely with resitution, he also imprisioned the officers involved in the raids.
Towards the end of the reviews, Toglards magiks made him aware of Pallegan's being brought over the border and teleported there. He face ten soliders, who wore masks some with a boars head, some with a wolf head and some with a mantis head. They had a dozen people with them. They told Toglard these people were the prize for their hunting party and were going back to Kalidor with them. Toglard commanded them to release the slaves, the that King has ordered a stop to the raids. One of th men in the Mantis masks explained that General Falber of Minneva gave them permission to hunt in this land and that they had a decree from him. Toglard explained that there was a new decree over riding what he had. The Kalidors talked amongst themselves for a bit and then released the people and headed back to their ships.
Returning to the capital Toglard told the King what had happened, and the King immediately had general Falber arrested.
