Amazon Armada
Prelude
On Baron Lillith's ship:
"My Queen, I am sorry to report that Ulirch and his men escaped our blockade"
In the caverns with the Armada:
"SOUND THE ALARM!! INTRUDERS!"
Adventure Summary
Gusmer heaved a discontented sigh. Once again Toglard's rash behavior left him in need of a rescue. He readied the group for the journey to wherever Toglard was and then had Shane open the fold.
Even Gusmer was amazed at how overmatched Toglard was this time. There were literally dozens of ships in the cavern including two that were larger than many castles. As the group arrived, Toglard was busily laying about the decks of the ships with fire and little planning.
Gusmer barked some orders to the others even as he led the charge to take the bridge of an adjacent ship. Toglard unleashed fireball after fireball with his ring. For their parts, Ulrich and Morduke put the elements to good use, creating massive waves through the water elementals and sealing the cavern shut through the efforts of Earth Elementals.
The battle continued thus for a time and though it was slow going and they seemed destined to win, Malik suddenly brandished and blew his horn. Even in the darkenss of the cavern the feeling of night was palpable.
It was clear to all who stood there than an elder demon had been summoned, a demon who might have listened to Malik if he'd had the whole horn. Instead, he had but a part of the horn and the demon set about the business of reclaiming it.
Unfortunately he never bargained on the powers of Shane Lee, Master of Time, Space and really cool Powers who timestopped, then enveloped the demons hands in prismatic spheres. When the time resumed, the demon was gone, perhaps destroyed.
The group continued their efforts until they were convinced they'd dealt the amazon fleet a crushing blow.
