Brief History:
Ithaky has always had a history for being a violent country. Legend states that Ithaky actaully once belonged to the largest kingdom of Drow on Aredel, and that there are many temples to their Spider Queen through out the kingdom. Due to it's layout the kingdom has been known to be called the Spider Kingdom. Some of the most deadliest breeds of spiders come from Ithaky.
Ruling Structure:
Over the past few years Ithaky's ruling class switch slowly from a male dominated society to a completely female dominated ruling class. Men have been removed from many high postions of power and replaced with women.
Sub Structure:
Ithaky is broken up into nine baronies with the capital on the center island, or the body of the spider. While 85% of Ithaky is completely mountain, there are numerous settlements through out the mountain covered island baronies.
Current Status:
The current Queen of Ithaky has been murdered on the eve of her biggest achivement, the Council of Kingdoms and a new ruler has taken the thrown. It also appears that Ithaky has created numerous allies with the kingdoms of evil such as the ogre's and is getting ready to try and take over the world.
Outlook on other Countries:
They believe all kingdoms in Aredel should be on their knees thanking Ithaky for their lives.
