Path of Air

Purpose

Students of Air believe that a whisper can be as powerful as a scream.

History

The Path of Air was founded by Joeren Heath, a warrior from Hikria. He studied the wind for years and tried to model his fighting style to reflect it.

Philosphy

Air is ever moving, ever present. So too should be the successful warrior. No one can trap or hold air. Striking it is worthless and overtime it wears down all things.

Joining

To join the path one must be recommended by a current practitioner. In most cases a master takes a single student and guides him to enlightenment.

Membership in Path of Air is exclusive. Members must also meet the following requirements:
Wisdom 11+, Dexterity 11+

Secrets

The Path of Air is exclusive and will not teach secrets to students of any other path or way. Students are discouraged, but not forbidden to learn other techniques.

Level 1
Iron Lung100The character can hold his breath twice as long as a normal character.
Level 2
Air Friend200The character gets a +2 bonus against any air-based spells.
Level 3
Feather Fall400The character can Feather Fall once/day for each five levels he's achieved (1-5 is 1, 6-10 is 2, etc)
Level 4
Dust in the Wind800The character's constant motion in battle means that he never provokes an attack of opportunity simply by moving into or out of a threat zone.
Level 5
Fly1600The character can fly once per day as if he had cast the wizard spell of the same name and at his current character level.

Other Information

The followers of Air are rumored to be allied with the Amazons and to somehow be responsible for their flying ships.
