- Dear Mother
Greetings from Biskay and our first successful delve. As a group we had a few small problems like our Trap master, named Kal and the Warrior Graydon almost dying because the rest of the group.. with the exception of myself was to afraid to cross a pit. This resulted in my having to fight two monsters singlehandedly because Graydon went down and Kal would have been dead from even a weak blow. The fear of the rest left the priest stranded on the far side of the pit and if not for a potion Graydon would be an ex delver already. Anyway, we have out next Delve lined up and I am sending you a sword as a trophy and 25 gold crowns for you to use as you see best. Will write again soon.- your son

As I sit here writing this I wonder what the weather outsideis like andwhat time of day it is. We are deep inot our first delve, and learnign to work as a team.
The team is pretty good an no dwarves, but we do have an elf who is typically secretive of his powers..makes it hard to trust him. The other warriors Graydon and Heinrik seem likable and competent. I bet Lila would fall in love with graydon, he has the courage of a hero. Him an I slew two small dragons that breathed lightning. Well for now i will end this so i can have a snack before we move further.- your son

hope everything is going well, and that my brothers and sisters are behaving themselves. i am doing ok have been looking around at the potential for delve team mates for the trials. So far there have been a couple of note. a sorceror named fang and peasant named greydon. there is also a snotty stuck up elf but i havent caught his name yet. I will send money and gifts as soon as i finish competeing- your son
