Prelude
I need a small favor, Soro.
You need but ask...
A friend of mine needs private transportation. I'm sure you'll understand that it must be quick, efficient and without entanglements.
My crew and I will handle it sir. Consider it done.
Player's Perspective
Soro's mysterious backer called in a favor and the ship and her crew were dispatched to pick up a single passenger and deliver him to Tattoine. The pickup and delivery of the passenger were smooth as Kreldian silk and the group found themselves on Tattoine with no cargo and a bit of time on their hands.
While Boz and Soro worked on the Hawk, Koubla and Owen went looking for work. It didn't take long before they'd heard a number of interesting tales. One was about a mysterious man in black and red battle armor who is apparently, making it his business to release slaves and punish their owners. A second was about a pair of light-saber wielding commandoes who had apparently blown up a warehouse belonging to the Hutt.
Both had prices on their heads and Owen grew intrigued. Some preliminar investigation turned up a likely haunt for the duo, but of the other man there was no word. Checking out the story at the cantina, they were told, after suitable bribes, that the pair had been in the bar and the two of them, with the aid of a third man, had easily handled a fairly well-known crew of hunters.
Checking in at the ship, where Boz was working on his new repair droid, everyone compared notes. After hearing the story of the duo, Boz convinced the others they wouldn't be any match for the people they were hunting. Koubla and Owen reluctantly agreed.
The rest of their time on Tattooine was spent finding a cargo and a few passengers for destinations on their way to Coruscant. They did pretty well, making almost 15,000 credits in profit with their semi-anonymous passengers and their cargo of fruit.
When they got back to Corruscant, they decided to improve the hyperdrive on the Hawk and Boz set to work finding the equipment they would need for the upgrade and installing it.
