The evening began with the posse on the road from Willoughly to Laramie. Armando decided to use his pistol as a flyswatter to take care of a few flies circling Hector's unwashed head. Hector took exception to this and thing got out of hand. When it was over, Armando was unconscious and Virgil's favorite lasso was broken.
When he regained consciousness, Armando felt that honor demanded he call out Hector. After attempting to get Zeke to help him, he gave up and had JT offer Hector his choice of dueling pistols. Hector decided to stay with his Gatling pistols. More arguing ensued and Hector wound up calling Armando out.
When Armando turned his back on him, Hector drew out his pistols to shoot him where he stood. The kid decided to enter the fray at that point and, in a miracle of trick-shooting, shot first one, then the other of Hector's pistols out of his hands. One of the guns was broken in the process.
The group finally continued on to Laramie. En route, they made camp in a hollow one night and were woken up at three a.m. when a half-naked girl stumbled into there campsight. She explained that she had escaped from some kidnappers and that they were chasing her with fire-breathing dogs.
After some consultation, Zeke and Virgil decided to take her on to Laramie while the rest of the group tracked the girl back to her kidnappers. In Laramie, Elizabeth and the boys received quite a reception from her fellow soiled doves
Meanwhile, the rest of the posse found a log cabin with a weird altar on it. As they discussed what to do next, they were suddenly interrupted
"Your friend seems wise beyond his years, perhaps you should heed his advise"
Tom tosses a deck of cards and whacks Steve right in the head
Joe2: Now they're all face cards!
Zeke tackles Armando
Joe1: Good thing he didn't do that to the Mexican he would have slipped right off
Joe1:We're proud of our four hours without a gunfight
GM: I thought you guys could make characters that could... I don't know... survive
Zeke: She's my mule; it's not hard to get her to drink
JT: Just put it in a jug
(Upon discovering that the girl is just wearing a cotton shift)
Crow: (No words, just slack jawed staring)
(Zeke is restraining a struggling Armando)
Zeke: Are you done?
Armando pokes him with a knife
Zeke delivers a devastating headbutt which leave Armando out-cold
Zeke: You're done
JT shoots Virgil's rope off KincaidVirgil: I've had that rope since I was a child
JT: Yer momma shoulda taught you how to use it better
