Well, I head a story about some creatures from those parts...
Prelude

The mangled remains were identified as a rapid raccoon to the townspeople it orange blood was not noticed due to the fading light, Matty figured the orange power might be dried blood and anyone with it on them made be seen as haveing killed one of the beasts.
