Summary

As the Harbringers burn daylight figuring out how to ambush visitors to the witch, a wagon with four children driven by a Goodman Mulligan arrives in town, Mulligan has collected unwanted chidlren to deliver to the Witch for the last nineteen years but he was more then glad to sell the children as well as his falling apart old wagan and broken down horse as well.

The Harbingers would later figure out the at all of the children were unbathtised due to being send off to be raised by fosters without publicly acknowledging them.

The group made their way out of town then watched the trail leading to the witch, scaring off a young woman seeking a abortacide, and watching Verkifs grandson collect a hot meal from town.

They finally made their way into the building at dawn, with Matthias getting orange powders by a trap, then knocked out and bound James.

The witch send up a decoy made of leaves which Amos headshot, then she laught shakeing his home letting orange power, which one again got Matthias, drift down from the ceiling as well as three vials which broke and released alchemical imps.

She also called up a flight of Snallygnaster from her well, which Zack began to attack outside as they tried to find their way in to attack Matthias who was coated with powder made from their blood.

As Amos and Benamin finished off the imps, Matthias prepared a flash of alchohol to burn the building, on to have Vergif take control of his arms to smash the bottle into his face.

Benjamin emptied his guns into the witch while Amos shot her off her feet freeing Matthias who threw the flash and then charged accoss a rotting floor barely catching a hold of edge on the far side as it collapsed below him. He then chopping into her with a hatchet before he was blinding with blinding powder and Amos finished off.

After freeing James and telling him the his granny had died in a fire, they let him head into Midlothian to tell his family, and then looted what they could carry away after burning the witches remain as well as her house.
