Prelude
wake up, i had a dream we are being attacked
Summary
A group of Cay tribe lizard men were driven to attack the party by a pair of hobgoblins, once the party bunched up, one of them opened up on them with a old aqubus that had been addapted to shot with a flint lock trigger.
Once the fight turned against them the hobs tried to run which gave the Cay the excuse to do the same.
Once the hobs were down, the cay were allowed to flee until they turned back while under attack of the forest that walk, a blurred giant lizard who the party drove off, for now.
The cay informed the party that the butcher, a priate ship landed on teh ruins they use to protect their eggs and the hatchery is now being held captive to force them to work for the pirates.
The party carried a ships launch with them to the swamp to find the pirate's own boat gone and a barrel of bloody bits smashed on the ground which had attracted a group of giant frogs
The trip through the swamp encountered a abadnoted hut, possibly the lair of a next of giant wasps which had belonged to the swamp walker a human hermit who had lived there
Ian snuck into the ruin and killed two goblin who had been placed in teh hatchery, but the smell awoke captain cutter, a baghest driven by enturnal hunger but unable to grow who could smell teh freshly spilled blood and sounded the alarm.
He tried to negotiate with Ian only to getted pissed and hack him down to use as hostage agaisnt the party.
Faceing off with the captain in a standoff, the cay knowning the cannister cannon had been fired moved in, lost half their number to a full sized cannon full of grape shot and cutter held oof the party while his men fled, then he dimension doored out.
decideing the swamp itself made for the best protection and with a allience with the cay the party planend on seeting up base in the swamp
