The group was still in the cave and spent several days healing up and preparing for their journey back to Dragonwall. They knew from previous experience that both Ninjas and bandits were waiting for them and they wanted to be ready.
Exiting the Vault, they met the twelve guardsmen who had been sent earlier. Wu Ho Song cursed them for their cowardice, then commanded them to help guard the group as they returned, treasure in hand, to Dragonwall. The guards suggested a secret path shown to them by the monkeys, but Shude and Song were determined to go down the main road and face their enemies.
Things went well at first, but at length they were found out by the bandits. Three of them blocked the path and commanded the group to stand and deliver. Song and Kai would have nothing of it and charged at them, determined to ride them down. As the rest of the group scanned for other attackers, the very roadway itself came to life and siezed their horses.
Tem Po launched arrows into the bandit sorceror and Shude breathed a great gout of steam which killed most of them. Two arrows struck Shude and nearly unhorsed him. Six more bandits appeared before them and six to their left. Po and Li charged down the ones on the right while Sho, Kai, and Song met the ones before them. Shude, hoping to foil the archers, created a wall of fog to rob them of a target.
While Shude struggled to get his horse free, Kai, Song, and Sho killed the group before them. Po and Li moved past the bandits to search for the archer. They become confused in the fog and were separated for a few moments. Po found himself facing the sumo who was working with the Ninja. He attacked, but was met with stiff resistance. Meanwhile, Li found the master of Iron Toad and engaged him in combat.
While Shude continued to struggle with his horse, Sho returned to aid him and Kai and Song sought to join the battle against the Ninja. Song found the sumo just as he sent Po flying with a mightytm blow. Song challenged him to honorable combat and the sumo agreed. While the sumo sought to fashion a weapon from a downed tree, Po attacked him and left him unconscious.
Shude finally freed his horse and watched, fearing that the Ninja would strike at their pack beasts. Song chastised Po then continued his search for the archer. The archer continued to strike people with impunity. Kai joined Li to battle the toad and together with Hon, they left him near death. While they debated applying the killing blow, the archer filled the area with choking gas and the toad escaped.
Song pursued the archer and found himself facing the last of the Ninja who revealed himself to be Vegita. Their fight was brutal and both men fell to the ground with mortal wounds. Vegitas friends found them first, but were forced to flee when they heard the rest of the group approaching. The sumo was killed and Rho Dan appeared, claiming he had but two souls to go.
The group continued to town where they heard the dire news of the Emperor's death. They spent a few minutes in town, but pressed on to Hunan City. Once there they were greeted with reserved enthusiasm by the spymaster of House Yung.
They joined him for the trip to PeiKing where they had the singular honor of presenting the Yung family's tribute to the new emperor. One hundred eunuchs brought forth a yacht and set it in the middle of the chamber. The entire assembly watched in awe as Tem Po filled the yacht with the gold that had been recovered from the Vault.
The group then returned to Hunan city where they were to be guests of the Yung family for the annual silk festival.
Rho Dan claimed he needed only two more souls to find the dragon's heart.
Li Hon was very generous with the village, settling their debts with Fong and donating money to the temple.
Hon and Song both consulted builders about creating new homes in the Dragonwall area.
Wu Ho Song: Now I see why they fled. Cowards, all of you!

Note: Writing this up took me almost 2 hours, so in the future there will less effort put into giving EXP for specific deeds or mentioning what specificlly earned honor points.
With a game every week, we would all be better off if I spent the time getting the next game ready. Up till now I've been rewarding 0% to 25% of the total EXP as a Role playing bonus, this will be raised to 0% to 50% to make up for the reduced amount of specific EXP awards.
