Okay, so it looks like I'm 0 for 2 on this game so far. Let's hope the third time, which will be in March, will be the charm.

I took kind of a bad fall at work today and everything hurts.

Next week I have a scout meeting.

Hopefully with more time, Mick and host.

I think I'm going to go with Justice, Inc as the system. It's Hero-based. More details after I find my rulebook.

What's up for tomorrow?

Okay, so I can play this week and we can play at my house if desired but I'm not ready to run yet.

Any volunteers?

I would prefer a 30's pulp fiction style game. Action , mystery, dames, dolls, guns, secret societies, mysterious powers and even the possibility of dinosaurs and giant apes.

Epic fantasy would be my second choice followed by world spanning super heroes and then Camp Myth and Goblins really anything where I don't have to play a bloodsucking creature of the night

On Feb 1, 2016 at 03:53 am Keith said :
30's could be cool. As normals dealing with supernatural?
Goblins would good for a laugh
I wasn't too fond of camp myth.
I can't comment on the "Hawk the Slayer" concept. my only memory of the movie is that it was kind of lame. Sorry.

After some more thought, I kind of think I might want to run something like one of these:

Indiana Jones/The Mummy type game with 1930s characters as part of archaeological team.

Supers but with a more world spanning theme (think the Avengers movies where you're stopping extinction level events).

Pathfinder goblins with a much higher mortality rate this time.

Camp Myth. it's a lighter game with the characters playing mythological creatures at a camp. think Harry Potter meets Meatballs.

Some sort of epic fantasy using pathfinder. Epic here means a grandiose scale rather than the epic rules.

Hawk the slayer inspired pathfinder. this one would probably have to be myhic with characters starting above first level. (you know Crow is mythic). Each PC could be human or one of the few (or only) remaining members of his kind.

Thoughts?

Mike is out, Lou is in, so it's Mick, Keith, Joe and Lou from the sounds of it.

You're welcome to use Subhash for a ton of healing and spellcasting. Joe probably has a copy for each of you.
