Went to the doc, get sent for x-rays, called him when I saw my results in mychart (god I love that thing) and headed back for a steroid shot. Between that and the tramadol, things are feeling pretty good now.
Getting the shot was funny, he decided to teach his favorite RN how to give a steroid shot in the knee.
He said to her "Mr. Donohue is a good test patient, he doesn't ever seem to feel pain."
I said "I feel it, I just don't make a big ruckus."
He said "Bullshit! I put three stitches in your neck with no freeze and you never even winced."
I said "You told me it was just one."
He didn't address that.
She did a way better job than the resident he showed how last time.
