On Mar 27, 2014 at 02:56 pm Steve said :- Saw the doc about my ongoing heel issues today. He wasn’t happy with the amount of swelling in my heel. He poked and prodded a bit and seemed happy that it was basically confined to the area of my heel where the tendon attaches to the bone.
He x-rayed that bone, which has had a bone spur for a long time. He compared it to previous xrays and didn’t see any big change. His diagnosis is that I probably overdid it and aggravated the bone spur which is causing the pain.
We discussed surgery, crutches, walkers, and walking casts. We decided to try a walker as crutches seemed unlikely to succeed. I went this afternoon to try a walker and ended up with one of those roll-about/knee walkers. I should have it early next week.
