The light turned green and as traffic that was stopped cleared, this guy in a jeep decided to make a left about 60' in front of us. We never had a chance to avoid him, but Kristie tried. She locked on the brakes and steered right but like I said, no one could have avoided it.
We hit near his right front corner; it looks like his car might ahve been on to of ours or something. We didn't get much of a look at the time -- the airbags blocked us while we were in the car and they had us in collars when we got out. We hadn't seen the car until yesterday; the damage was way worse than we thought it would be.

I think our car is going to be totaled. When we said 105,000 miles and 6 airbags went off she seemed pretty sure we'd be talking to the "total loss" group. We had thought it was only 4 airbags, but here was another one under the steering wheel and the back passenger one had gone off.
To be honest, the damage was more than either of us thought it was going to be.
