Iron Shores is the largest source of iron in Aredel. The dwarves have spent hundreds of years mining and trading with all kingdoms of Aredel, save Svykur and Nylstol. The dwarves have never entered any battles unless it was to save their own land. Just below the moutians of Iron Shore, villages of humans scatter the land, with only one or two major human cities, Iron Shores main population are dwarves and the all reside in the coastal mountains.

The Dwarves have let humans study with them. But very rarely.
