Prelude

It is written that the orb lies in the ruined city wherein also dwells the hand that destroys unseen

Adventure Summary

The group, drawn by the belief that the next of the three artifacts they must discover lies in the desert, heads north. Without WuHo, they are leaderless and the journey would have taken much time to prepare for, save that Shude had learned a new spell. The group arranged for a local who had been to the city before to serve as a guide, then Shude used a powerful charm to transport them all to the outskirts of the city.

The spell, new to Shude, sent them past their destination, but only a mile or so. They trekked back and investigated the city briefly. After some consultation, it was decided that the central building must hose their treasure. Sadly it was in the area most heavily patrolled by the Hand. Shude conjured two groups of monsters and set them to fighting each other, then used a lesser spell to transport them to the roof of the tower.

There, they entered a door which seemed to lead nowhere but actually took them to a finely crafted room with 8 doors, each representing one of the eight virtues. Behind each door lay a challenge.

Six of the Eight were defeated and only two remain.

Noteworthy Events

Steve winds up on the phone and so misses much of the action, particularly in the garden.
