Summary
The battle against the demon was difficult and Arric was forced to heal the group many times before Ropp finally struck the killing blow. They checked the room and found some minor treasure, then headed towards the sound of screaming.
On the way, they encountered a marilith. After some negotiation, she agreed to leave in exchange for some items. Ropp contributed a dagger and BAMF eagerly disposed of the Holy Avenger which vexed him by not revealing his full power because he wasn't morally aligned with it. Once she got the swords, she disappeared.
They continued and came into a room where they found the original succubus and demon. It tried to talk them into accepting a wish but had no luck and let them pass through the room.
They found another area where a deep hole seemed to pass into nothing. They opted to leave it and found a torture chamber where they released one of the prisoners, found one beyond saving, and determined the last was a traitor and left him. They gave the woman they released some gear and some healing and she decided to fight by their side.
The next area they found had a large block of ice and after some discussion, they decided to hit it with a couple of flame spells to melt it. Sadly, the ice held a white dragon who breathed on them immediately. The fight was difficult, but the valor of Ropp again won the day. The dragon had a much more impressive hoard.
